Now, why this site? And why me?

There are thousands of sites that you could've visited and there are thousands of people that you could work with, so why are you here? What makes this site different and what makes me different?

Hopefully you've realized that I'm interested in developing a relationship with you, because building ANY business online or off is all about building relationships...it's about connecting with each other on a personal level.

Experience has taught me that websites and emails really don't validate trust or relationship-building when it comes to getting involved in business opportunities.

Have you ever noticed that we tend to do business with people that we like and trust, and find credible? I want to be able to connect and identify with you in some small way. We may even be very similar in many ways, I don't know... My guess is that you've had some experience with a "home business" before. For most of us, it wasn't a positive experience, right?

My Personal Biography

Image Preview I was born in Denver, Colorado. My parents moved to California when I was two years old. I grew up in a very average middle class neighborhood. I graduated from high school a year ahead of my class and went on to college to major in Business with a minor in Marketing. During my young adult years, I decided to follow in my mothers footsteps and enter the world of Real Estate.

I'm the oldest of three children, single and have two wonderful sons David (19) & Christopher (17). I divide my time between my home in Del Mar, California and the other in Miami, Florida. I love living at the beach and enjoy the diverse lifestyles of the East & West Coasts.

Professionally, I've been self-employed most of my adult life in some aspect of Real Estate.

I've learned many lessons in life and have had to overcome many personal challenges that could have prevented me from realizing my dreams. I truly cherish every day I wake up. I've been through some tough financial times when I was struggling to make ends meet, and now the good ones where I don't have to worry about bills anymore thanks to my different businesses.

There's no better way to get to know someone than to see them with the people they love, doing the things they enjoy! And I think a big part of someone getting to know you is to actually see where you live, what you do, and what's important to you.

Time is our most precious commodity. It's the one thing we can't get back once it's gone. To me, nothing is more important than spending quality time with my family and friends.

I've recently taken up flying and will soon have my Private Pilots license. You can only begin to imagine how many more options are open to you when you can just jump in your own plane and take off at a moments notice to a location that would ordinarily take six hours to drive to and now you can make it there in two hours. I also love to take local weekend vacations and getaways. There are some great sites in Southern California as well as South Florida and most are within driving distance.

These include cruises, long drives up and down the Coast, spending a weekend in a little bed and breakfast or just getting out of town for the day to enjoy a change of scenery and some fresh air. I enjoy tennis, mountain biking, snow skiing and most other activities that take place outdoors. They are a great source of exercise, and a lot of fun!

Image Preview Traveling is just one of the many "perks" of owning an International Home Based Business that I truly enjoy. Having both the financial freedom and the time freedom to just get up a go when I want feels great; especially knowing I don't have the overhead of an office and staff.

There I am to the right soaking up the sun in beautiful Negril, Jamaica and below inside the famous Savoy Hotel on a recent trip to London. Of all the things there are to do in life nothing quite compares to the enjoyment of being able to travel to foreign destinations and 'ports of call'.

Prior to beginning my online career, in 1999, I spent 13 years as a Real Estate agent in Southern California. And although the business was extremely good to me I found that if I stopped working or took extended time off from selling, my commissions stopped.

I always considered myself a tech savvy person and fairly sharp when it came to business, having graduated from a prominent California University with a business degree. Not much was taught, at that time, with regard to marketing on the Internet and I eventually followed into the family business of buying and selling property.

In 1999, at the age of 35, I retired from Real Estate as a profession and began my pursuit for the American dream on the Internet.

I always knew the Internet could be a powerful tool for marketing to the masses and I even met people at that time that were making six figures per month. The challenge was that not many of these individuals were willing to share what they were practicing on a daily basis. So, I just needed to learn their secrets to make it work for me. Well after bouncing my head against the wall, learning from the school of hard knocks for almost three years, spending thousands of dollars and countless hours in the process I finally met the right people that had a new vision and were willing to share their secrets with me.

To back track just a little to 1992, around the time long distance phone service was being deregulated, a good friend of mine told me about a business that made a lot of sense at the time. I attended my first opportunity meeting in a crowded little office space in Irvine, California and got hooked up doing a network marketing (MLM) business called "NTC or National Telephone & Communication". I spent the first few years running between mad and frustrated. Like most, I failed many times, but managed to finally make a few bucks along the way, mainly because I was just too stubborn to quit.

By the way, don't let that word, "MLM" scare you, it stands for Multi-Level or Network Marketing. Network Marketing companies are direct sales companies which pay out a portion of their sales for a product to a distributor.

Image Preview Do you know who Michael Dell is? He owns Dell Computers. He has a direct selling company which is the #1 seller of Computers. Do you know how he did it? He's delegated a task to people to call others on the phone and sell them computers. Those people who sold computers for him, made a commission off that sale. That's what people in network marketing are doing today, making commissions for the retail purchase of products and services from people who are in a group or downline below them. It's legal and it's one of the greatest industries in the world, when run correctly.

You may have visions of Amway friends converting you to their way of life by buying their products, etc, or maybe you got duped to going to a house meeting and all the sudden, you were ambushed with a slick sales pitch to buy soap? Yikes!

If you've been burned by MLM, join the club, so have I. Now, don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with MLM, it's just that so many people have also been burned because of all the hype, smoke and mirror jobs put over on us by con artists.

I personally think MLM/network marketing is one of the greatest industries in the free enterprise system, but I also know that in order to succeed, one must not try to duplicate a PERSON, but only a SYSTEM...more about that as you read on....

So I digress... even though I failed in more than a few programs over the last several years, I've also had some significant success.

What this did for me, was create a way for me to build personal relationships with people online, as a business owner, who actually trusted me and would take my advice on programs and tools to use to grow their business.

Every Day is a New Adventure!

I've been fortunate enough to earn over 6-figures a year because of the successful mentors I've worked closely with and have learned from. It's been such a blessing to have the financial resources to put Dina through her Masters program without her having to work.

I get to work as little or as much as I want. Some weeks I work as little as 2 hours a day. Other weeks (such as when I'm working on creating a brand new site), I'll work 5-8 hours a day. But I set my own schedule. If it's a beautiful day out, I'm not gonna miss it. If a friend of mine calls up and wants to go out to lunch or play a couple sets of tennis or perhaps a quick 9-holes, I'm usually free to go.

SIDEBAR: People often ask me why I still do Real Estate if I don't "need" to (for the money that is). Well the fact is, today, I still continue to do Real Estate because as most people know it's an excellent investment The fact of the matter is I happen to have a lot more net spendable income to invest. The difference is, I now have a choice...and so do YOU! And after all, that's what it's all about - CHOICES.

There are lots of hobbies we enjoy, my boys and I like off-roading and hitting the dunes at the beach in Baja on ATV's. I enjoy deep sea fishing and recently got hooked on exploring the underworld, scuba diving that is.

I particularly enjoy cooking, hosting dinner parties for friends and family, good wine and jazz music. We are also into personal development, technology, health and fitness and did I mention I'm also a gadget geek. I think I have every tech gadget known to man.
